AC gearmotors are an economical, hardworking solution. Because they lack common wear parts, AC gearmotors offer long life with little to no maintenance required. They are driven by electrical induction, which means that they don’t have brushes or produce friction — noise levels stay low with these reliable motors. Featuring low EMI emissions, our custom AC gearmotors use shaded pole construction and are useful for either intermittent or continuous duty.  They also maintain consistent torque over ranging speeds.

Multi Products offers an extensive line of custom AC gearmotors for your customized solution. We can tailor-engineer your motors with continuous rated torque up to 200 in-lb and speeds as low as 1.0 RPM. Voltage range options include 24, 120, 240, and 480 VAC, with dual voltage options available. We will match the winding, stack size, gear ratio, and output shaft (stock or custom) to your specs, and we can obtain approval from European agencies at your request.

In addition to speed, torque, and voltage, you can further customize your AC gearmotors and gearboxs with a variety of value-add upstream actuation accessories and downstream sub-assembly solutions. Add EMI wiring harnesses, mounting plates, couplings, low-noise gearing, pulleys, cam/switch actuators, high-temp bushings, needle bearings, tappings, holes, flats, hollow or thru-shaft design, custom sub-assembly, or other components directly to the gearmotor for a unique, custom-designed product.
